Disciples serve others. We are taught to love one another in 1st John. We were shown what love is when Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. As a result we should lay down our lives for our brothers. But how do we do this? By serving one another; helping the hurting among us, teaching the young, discipling the new believer, comforting those who mourn. Service opportunities are only limited by our imagination.

The Hands in Service (HIS) ministry provides many opportunities to follow Christ’s example to serve those beyond the body of Christ.

Service opportunities also abound within the body of Christ. You can help in the nursery department, teach children's classes, be a mentor for adolescents, and many other ways that contribute to the life and ministry of the church.

Look around; what gift have you been provided that will build up the body of Christ in new ways here in Clarence and across WNY? “God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4:16b.
