For those who have needs, HIS’s Needs ministry it is a safe and private way of getting the help and support you need from people who care about you. For those who are looking for a place to connect with others and serve, it is an easy and quick way to find out about and help those in need.HIS is a way of loving one another, a way Christ calls us to live.  Even the smallest gesture can have the largest impact.

HOW HIS’ NEEDS MINISTRY WORKS

If you have a need or know of a need, email his@clarencecc.org or call it in to the HIS team.
If you want to learn about needs, sign up to be in a “pool of helpers” by contacting HIS.
The HIS team compiles need(s) and sends out the requests to a “pool of helpers” notifying them of the need(s). The HIS team connects the need with the helper.

A current needs list will be displayed on the HIS bulletin board at church.
EXAMPLES OF NEEDS

  Car rides to appointments

  Grocery shopping

  Handyman/home repairs/yardwork

  Prayer partner

  Someone to sit/visit with you

  No need is to big or too small!
 

SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATION

Giving your time to work on a HIS project will make you feel great, and the people you serve will appreciate your work, but HIS is much more than just good feelings. In Galations 6, we are told to carry each other's burdens. In John 13, Christ washed His disciples feet and then told them to humble themselves and follow His example. We serve others out of obedience to Christ and strive to live like the church in Acts.
